hehehe…
napanuod ko na rin yung war of the worlds last night. it was a very good movie to say the least. i mean, its steven spielberg after all. we all know that he CANT make a bad movie. he can make decent movies, and a lot of very interesting and great movies, but we never really saw a BAD spielberg movie, ryt?
neweis, only disappointment i got from the movie was the ending. where we are told by voice over that the aliens are defeated by themselves because their bodies couldnt handle sa bacterias that are in the blood systems of the humans, (the aliens are sucking human blood for their morning tea, i suppose) and from the atmosphere. i mean c’mon. if those martians are really intelligent and are vast superior in intellect from us humans, then they should have known that its very risky to just go on and suck blood and breathe air from alien planets, ryt? they should have done testing and stuff. tested all the known bacteria and viruses in the planet before going on and having their invasion on a roll.
we also have also have done some planet exploration on mars, but we use robots and rovers and computers to analyse as much as we could about the planet to know if its already possible for human exploration, ryt? hay… its just disappointing that the martians in war of the worlds are defeated JUST LIKE THAT.
but all in all. it was a great movie. a great action movie. the build up of tension and suspense is great. spielberg’s techniques on bringing us to the height of suspense is flawless. even better than jaws. and there are also a lot of things in the movie reminiscent of other spielberg movies. the martian-tripod’s horn sounds like the one in close encounters of the third kind. when the martians are fiddling with the bicycle is like telling us about their kinsman ET. and the snake-like spy-eye of the martian-tripod if like from jurassic park. its just interesting to see all these things in the movie.
and i just love dakota fanning i here. actually i love her in all her movies. i love that kid. she’s such a great actress i her very young age.
neweis, enuff of that. my time here is almost up, i think. or maybe i have no more else to ryt here… or maybe i just cant think of other things to write here. hmmm..
nah, my time is really up. till next time na lang..
hehehe…
