What did you do in 2005 that you’d never done before?
actually teach in a class. i was in this computer literacy program where we teach basic computer education to highschool & out-of-school kids.

Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i’m not sure. i cant even remember my new year’s resolutions last year. hmm.. probably some.

Did anyone close to you give birth?
my future sister-inlaw gave birth to my first pamangkin. and my bestfried during college, si flo.

Did anyone close to you die?
nope.

What countries did you visit?
i wish. i havent even got out of luzon for pete’s sake!

What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
a JOB! and a sony ericsson k750i. hehe.

What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
those months i’ve stayed at our apartment in road 20. best months of my last year in school. bonding sessions with my thesis group, the "pressure-is-on" thesis cramming sessions, the tambays, the house parties, the aFG lives on!

the VASRA outreach program from september to november. i will surely miss my students there. i hope they learned a lot from the sessions we had with them.

the isaw sessions with the barkada.

the video shoots around campus and outside as well.

of course, the thesis defense during august 4. dammit that was unexpected! nothing is as sweet as an "uno". hehe.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
getting that grade from the thesis defense. knowing that i can probably teach well, with a little bit more experiece. hehe.

What was your biggest failure?
hurting so much one of the most important person in my life. that really changed a lot in me.

Did you suffer illness or injury?
sakitin ako eh.. laging may illness at injury. heheh..

What was the best thing you bought?
i dont remember really buying something different or unusual to be merited as "best" this year…

Whose behavior merited celebration?
the team of volunteers that handled the VASRA Computer Literacy Hub. asteeg kayo mga tol!

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
myself, mostly.

Where did most of your money go?
movies, cd’s, gimmiks, isaw… hehehe..

What did you get really, really, really excited about?
a lot of things got me excited over the year; the early part was mostly by this girl who i woudnt be mentioning her name, of course these was the thesis, and the outreach program, then the job hunting, the isaw sessions with the barkada…

What song(s) will always remind you of 2005?
"Helena" & "Ghost In You" by My Chemical Romance, "Lintik" by Brownman Revival, "Kiss By A Rose" by Seal, "Alab Ng Puso" by Rivermaya (our thesis defense anthem"), "Kundiman" by Rivermaya, "Minsan" by Eraserheads.

writing more codes. writing more posts. learned more programming languages.

Wala. (im sure, maraming aangal dyan sa tabi-tabi. nyahahahha!)

naruto, most probably.

Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
i think i just hate some things i have done.

call be geeky but its "Mastering Visual Basic 6.0 Special Edition". nyahahahha! saka yung hiniram ko na book kay lorraine: Book of Dreams; at yung mga hiniram ko kay faire: Veronika Decides To Die & 5 People You Meet In Heaven.

What was your greatest musical discovery?
ever? TOOL. this year? Isis, Sigur Ros, Paramita.

What did you want and get?
another chance.

What was your favorite film of this year?
"Batman Begins" was great. and yes, "Starwars Ep.III" was also very much entertaining. the "Corpse Bride" would probably win best animated movie next oscars, and yeah its my favorite this year!

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
i had a small party with some close friends from school and some of our students in the outreach program. and yes, i turned 24. yikes!

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
getting that account in manila cityhall.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
garage.

What kept you sane?
music, movies, my friends.

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
jeon ji-hyun. i just can’t get enuf of that one. also ala paredes.

What political issue stirred you the most?
GloriaGate.

Who did you miss?
right now i miss the aFG and the choopool boys.

Who was the best new person you met?
a lot of new friends from the IB-block (i’ll miss u guys!); si Agatha, Wheng, Si Reschelle at Kapitan Bobby Fortun from VASRA; si ma’am mabel belano from AMA head office. at si faire haduca (mami-miss ko mga kwentuhan natin!)

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
good things comes to those who wait.

What was the nicest thing someone told you about yourself:
when ma’am grace aguiluz was building this team that would handle the outreach program, she appointed me as "supervisor", and then telling me that she wouldnt put me in that position if she didnt believe that i could not do the job well. thanks ma’am!

when some of the students in the outreach program told me that i should get a bayaning pilipino award for the effort i was giving for the program. that was really nice.

faire told me i really can sing well. naks! nyahahaha!

when people appreciate my writings (not here in this blog. hehehe. mostly yung mga shorts na naisulat ko.)

the most touching experience you’ve had this year?
when me and my thesismates had this bonding moment after defense, congratulating each other for a job well done.

when my students at the outreach program told me how much they have learned from us instructors.

when bew told me that she doesnt anymore believe the things im telling her. ouch. that was august.

What did you like most about yourself this year?
i just charged on, braved every obstacle there is.

What did you hate most about yourself this year?
being unappreciative and selfish.

i wish that i could finally jet a JOB that im really interested in. i wish for a healthier life. i wish for more things to learn. i wish for more people to meet. i wish for more experiences to learn from. i wish for another year to be added to my life.
