sa mga hindi po nakakaalam (at hindi ko alam sa iba kung bakit nyo gustong malaman, hehehe. dyoks.) eh pumunta po akong baguio nung friday night. i was scheduled for a series of exams and interviews at this american company there, MOOG. dun sa mga ilang nagbabasa ng blog ko since start eh maaalala nila na yun yung target kong company nung mga time na kakatapos ko lang makagradweyt.

so yun nga, they called me up nung thursday, telling me if im interested in taking application exams for this NDT (Non-Destructive Training) position para sa company nila on Jan 7. Not knowing anything about NDT, i kind of hesitated. pero yung HR officer na tumawag eh medyo mapilit. try ko lang daw, saka may training period naman daw, so kahit hindi ako familiar ok lang. matututunan ko na lang daw sa training. so fine. i agreed tobe scheduled. ang masaya dun eh sagot nila lahat. pamasahe, food, lodging for the night before the exams. saya diba?

so yun, i took the midnight trip to baguio (kse i also have a scheduled exams and interview for this another company in makati) and slept my way all through out the trip. saya noh? syempre, kailangan ko ring matulog. dumating ako sa baguio ng 5:00am (as i expected), and dammit i was a bit surprised on how f*cking cold it was that time i got there. i was literally shivering to my bones. hehehe. hindi ako makatayo dun sa inuupuan ko sa terminal sa sobrang lamig. grabe, inisip ko nun na maling jacket talaga ang dinala ko. kse naman, nung pumunta kami nung september eh hindi naman ganun kalamig.

eneweis, so i was picked up nung isang co-worker ni tatay and i stayed dun sa apartment nila. i stayed dun sa biggest room in the apartment, (which i found out later was haunted. kaya pala lahat sila eh natutulog sa living room area at hindi sa mga rooms. swerte naman ako at walang nagpakita o nagparamdam sa akin. hehehe.) took quick nap and got myself ready for my 7:30am appointment.

medyo late ako nakarating sa MOOG, pero it was ok kse tour pa lang naman ang inabutan ko. may introduction tungkol sa company and also dun sa NDT position and a tour dun sa NDT laboratory nila. there were 8 of us dun sa start ng tour. after nung tour, they escorted us sa isang conference room to start taking the exams. it was a series of IQ and aptitude exams. after ng mga exams na yun, only four of us are left. actually kinabahan na ako. kse naman ako ang wildcard sa grupo. lahat sila is either NDT or Metallurgical Enginnering gradweyt. and *ahem* IT gradweyt po ako. galeng eh noh?

so i talked to the HR officer about my condition and honestly told her that i dont think i belong to that group. she told me na ok lang yun. she would put my records na lang daw on active file para kapag nagkaroon ng opening sa IT department nila at tinawagan ako, i dont have to go through the exams anymore. straight to interviews na raw ako. saya! hehehe. after that eh i went to a panel interview with the head HR at two upperclass officers ng NDT gourp nila. so yun nga, napansin nila na ang competencies ko eh really inclined to IT positions and i told them na i dont think na if ever i would go through the technical exams (hands-on sa lab nila) eh i wont do any good at it kse i have NO idea whatsoever sa NDT position na iyon. so katulad nung sinabi nung isang HR officer na nakausap earlier, the head HR oficer told me na magkakaroon sila ng opening for IT positions before the middle of the year kse their plans on espanding is on a roll, and they would be needing to fill more positions. so yun, hindi na ako nag-technical exams pero hindi naman nasayang ang pagpunta ko sa MOOG. ayos narin yun. magandang adventure. atleast kapag nagkaroon na ng opening sa IT dept nila at kinontak ako, i wont have to go through all that grueling exams again. hehe.

after nung exams, i went back to the apartment. kumain ng merienda (kse the exams and interview finished up til 4pm) at decided to go around baguio bago ako umuwi ng manila. pumunta ako ng minesview. nagikot-ikot, namili ng mga pasalubong at ng para sa akin. tingin-tingin ng mga pwedeng mabili. kaso sa kahabaan ng mga stalls sa minesview eh rare na magkaroon ng kakaibang binebenta between stalls. i still wanted to go to SM baguio sana kso nailang akong mag-ikot ikot dun na may mga bitbit. ang yes, ako lang mag-isa so mas nakakapagod at medyo malungkot. huhuhu. so i decided na to go back to the apartment. kaso natagalan naman akong makakuha ng taxi. hirap palang mag-antay ng taxt sa lugar na yun kapag inabutan ka na ng dilim.

pagdating ko sa apartment, nanuod ng tv. nothing exciting there. except yung fact na nalaman ko na nga finally kung bakit lahat sila eh natutulog dun sa sala at hindi sa mga rooms. grabe, mga malalaking mga lalake eh takot sa ilang paramdam. hindi naman daw nanggugulo yung mga "spirits", nagpaparamdam lang daw. buti na lang at ako eh walang napapansin na kakaiba dun sa room na pinuwestuhan ko. nalaman ko rin kse na may nag-suicide dun sa room na yun. saya noh? hehe.

after i took my dinner with the guys from the apartment eh natulog muna ako, deciding to take the 10pm trip back to manila. kso unfortunately, nagising ako eh 10:30 na. malas. buti na lang at may 2 na bababa rin ng manila ang they were planining on taking the midnight trip, so sumama na ako. pagdating namin sa terminal, paalis pa lang ang 11:15 trip, so sumakay na kami dun. and yes, i slept through the whole ride again. hehehe.

i got home dito sa bahay around 4:30. talked to my parents about my trip, my experience dun sa MOOG and dun sa apartment and took some snacks. nakalimutan ko kse bumili ng pagkain bago bumyahe so gutom talaga ako pagdating sa bahay. after that sleep ulit. medyo uncomfortable din kse yung pwesto ko sa bus so putol-putol ang tulog ko sa trip. pagkagising ko ng 11:00am, ito na nagsimula na akong magsulat sa blog na ito. galeng. roundtrip.

saya noh? hindi ba? ako nag-enjoy kahit papaano. hehehe.
