how do you learn J2EE, Oracle, PHP, Perl, MySQL, Apache in less than a month’s time?
now that is what i am pulling my hair out to find an answer these past days. t@ngna, i dont even know which one i should be learning first. j2ee & oracel (coz’ thats what i need to pass my first quarter in my masters program) or php, perl, mysql & apache (coz’ that’s what i need to learn for my work). leche. most of the time, i just spend my time staring at my pc not knowing what to do first. and then just ending up surfing the net for whatever or updating my blogsite because i can’t channel my typing skills to java-syntax-marathon sessions. i always get this "programmer’s block" these past days. i just can’t seem to find a way to quickly learn all those stuff in a month’s time. just learning how to write a decent java program (on NetBeans IDE) has been eating a lot of my time.
hay.. anyways, ranting about all that stuff won’t really help me out so i would just leave those for a moment.

yesterday, i found out about this really interesting band on the internet. they call themselves MISTULA (filipino term for "likeness"), and they are really, really good. plus the fact that the band has a "twist". they are only internet-based and people wont know what they really look like bcoz they use dolls as their avatars. check them and their music out at www.mistula.com!

so my first week at work if finally over. though we havent really did any real "work" at the company, we (that means the newcomers. hiya guys!) did a lot of self-studying and cramming for the assignments for our masteral program. i did made a bad start for the week, being late two times (the second one wasnt really my fault. f*cking mrt.) and absent feb1 (i had to get my sss number & nbi clearance). i hope i wont be late in the upcoming weeks, i need to atleast make a good impression on the people there.
next week would be a bit hectic bcoz of a number of training programs that are lined up for us newcomers. and yeah, the team has been split. hay… goodluck to ver, carla on your vendavo project! and goodluck to the rest of us left on the opensource group. hope we would learn a lot on these training programs, i need some jumpstart for my programming sparkplug so i could get it on and get started on learning those new PL’s that we need for the job. (kaya natin ito mga tol! aja!)

Ngayon ko lang “narinig” ang programmer’s block. Hehe. Bad trip yung Vendavo ayaw mag-install. Tapos yung Java, napaka unstable.
On the positive side, masaya naman magdebug at magsolve ng problems di ba?
programmer’s block. ngayon mo lang narinig yun? hmmm.. kunsabagay, uso kse sa AMA ung ganun eh. pero minsan hindi mo alam kung programmer’s block o blockhead lng tlaga. hehehe.
